Alex is a former Managing Director of Summit Partners. He joined Summit Partners in 2007 and served as the firm’s Head of Capital Markets before transitioning to a Senior Advisor role in 2023. During his tenure at Summit, Alex led the firm’s capital markets activities, and he was also a Co-Founder of Summit Partners Credit Advisors.
Prior to Summit, Alex worked for Morgan Stanley, where he founded the Boston office of the Financial Sponsors Group in the Investment Banking Division.
Alex holds a BA in history, cum laude, from Carleton College and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. He is a Trustee of Dexter Southfield School and of the Massachusetts Historical Society.
