As an Executive-in-Residence with Summit Partners, Yuchun Lee works closely with the Summit team to help identify and build leading technology companies with a focus on enterprise software and data analytics. Yuchun currently serves as CEO of Clarabridge, a company backed by Summit in 2013.
Yuchun is the founder and former CEO of Summit portfolio company Unica Corporation, a software company focused on meeting the needs of marketers seeking to embrace technology to reach new customers. As Unica’s CEO since its inception in 1992, Yuchun chose Summit as a growth equity partner in 1999. Yuchun guided Unica to a successful IPO in 2005 and under his leadership, the company became a global provider of enterprise marketing management solutions serving more than 1,500 businesses worldwide. In 2010, Unica was acquired by IBM. Yuchun remained with IBM until 2012, serving as Vice President and General Manager of IBM’s Enterprise Marketing Management Group, with a global responsibility focusing on the needs of Chief Marketing Officers.
Yuchun holds both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT and an MBA from Babson College.
