William (Ted) Shanahan works in Summit’s Boston office and is active in the firm’s investment activities in North America, Europe and Asia. His investments include Salient Partners.
Prior to Summit, Ted worked for UBS Investment Bank. He received a BA in government and English, cum laude, from Georgetown University, where he was a member of the varsity soccer team.
Ted is a member of the United Way Emerging Leaders Executive Committee, which focuses on increasing the involvement of young professionals in the United Way through education, volunteerism and fundraising. Ted is also a member of the United Way Youth Venture Program, which provides financial backing and mentorship to young adults creating social ventures to benefit their communities.
