Mark A. deLaar joined Summit Partners in 2003. Prior to Summit, he worked for DB Alex Brown, Banc of America Securities and Public Financial Management, and served in the United States Army.
Based in Summit’s Boston office, Mark is active in the firm’s investment activities in North America, Europe and Asia and focuses primarily on the technology and healthcare & life sciences sectors.
During his ten years with Summit Partners, Mark’s investment and director experience has included Anesthetix (acquired by TeamHealth), Autobase (acquired by Dominion Enterprises), AvePoint, Fermentas International (acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific), Heart to Heart Hospice, IMMCO Diagnostics, MDVIP (acquired by Procter & Gamble), and OB Hospitalist Group.
Mark holds a BS from the United States Military Academy and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
