Joan D. Miller joined Summit Partners in 2001. Prior to Summit, she worked for The Boston Consulting Group, State Street Research & Management Company and New England Investment Companies. 
 
Joan works in Summit’s Boston office. She received a BA in communications and psychology, with Honors, from Simmons College.
 
Joan is a member of the National Venture Capital Association's Strategic Communications Group, and is a former Board Director of the Association for Corporate Growth, Boston Chapter.
