Charles W. Friedland is based in Summit's Menlo Park office. He is active in the firm’s investment activities in North America and Asia, and focuses primarily on the technology and healthcare & life sciences sectors.

Prior to Summit, Charles worked in the Corporate Finance Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley. He holds an AB in economics from Dartmouth College.

Charles volunteers with Stoked!, a mentoring organization that promotes personal development, academic achievement, and healthy living to under-served youth through action sports.
